The guards streamed into the battle, adding to the yowls of the battle. Tellun, an apprentice, was fighting for his life. The other two apprentices were fighting somewhere else in the battle, while the medicine cat and his apprentice were going healing the wounded. Mau was battling with a huge lynx, the leader of the clan and Tellun's father. His father had many advantages, using the light of a huge diamond to temporaily blind his opponent. His father knocked Mau off the rock, and leapt into battle. Tellun, being the son of a lynx, was larger than the apprentices and some of the warriors. Tellun's father also had many kits, making at least a fourth of the clan have Lynx blood. Tellun ran into the battle, seeing a russian blue stalking the medicine cat, who was tending to a hurt warrior. He crashed into the russian blue, biting his shoulder. The guard screeched and ran back to Rakuzan. Tellun turned, and felt the stinging heat of flame. He instinctively rolled on the grass, putting it out. He ran blindly into battle, evantually butting into a maine coon. The maine coon was smaller than him. Tellun leapt at him, clawing the cat's eyes, nose, and ears. The maine coon howled. Tellun then clamped his jaws over his throat.
"ENOUGH!" Tellun heard the screech of his father, and a blinding white light covered the battle. The cats of Lynxius, his father had renamed the clan after so many lynx-blooded cats, were immune to it, but the guards, and Mau, cried out in pain. The Lynxius cats charged forward, grabbing their enemies and finishing them off. Tellun raked the side and shoulder of a siamese tom. The light died down, revealing many guards who were on the ground, clutching their eyes and heads. The Lynxius cats quickly surrounded them. The guards managed to escape.
Many weeks later Tellun's father had died of old age. He had given his oldest son, Tellun, the diamond. Tellun had promised he would take care of the clan. He has ruled the clan since.
