"Yes, but it would be better for more since this is a powerful spell and needs a lot of energy to make.  Even if they are not magic users they can lend that."  Snow Shoe said.

"Alright." Watcher whuffed, still talking around his bone. "I don't know any energy-sapping spells though, never needed them, and honestly, they give me the creeps."

"Then you have never used a spell that does much of importance.  Everything needs energy to move along.  Without it the world would die out.  A spell is just the same.  You have been using your energy for your spells just you use the small spells that does just much so you don't notice."  Snow Shoe explained.

"I think I heard about five words of that, but I get the gist." Watcher said. "But importance is really rated by the individual user, I have need for spells some think are worth absolutely nothing."

Snow Shoe close his eyes and smiled.
"I guess your right, importance is different for each person."  He said.  He continued to walk even with his eyes closed, it didn't make a difference to him.

IC: Watcher grunted his agreement, following behind. He found it odd that he was walking behind a Vorox and not dead yet, but SnowShoe seemed friendly enough.

Small drops of water dropped on Snow Shoe's thin pelt.  His pulled pack ears when back even farther.  He hated the rain, he hated water all together.  It was a normal fear for Vorox.  He quickened his passe until they made it to a thin forest.  He slowed then.  With his nose to the ground he checked all of the trees he past until he found the correct one.  He pulled away moss until the opening showed under the tree.  Inside wasn't too big.  The walls were made of dirt and held up by the roots of the tree.
"It isn't much, but it took awhile to make."  He said.

Watcher blinked, looking around. "It'll do for now. I've slept in worse." He said, putting his bone down and curling up in a corner with a paw on it.

Snow Shoe sat at the opposite side of the 'den'.  It wasn't night time just yet but he didn't have any drive to go out in the rain.  But maybe he could learn more about his traveling partner now.
"I have never been outside of Sonazea, what is it like?"  He asked.

Watcher, who had been dozing off, blinked awake at this question. "What is it like? Hmm..." He thought a moment, and answered. "There are high mountains with lakes and rivers and valleys, just like Sonazea, but there are also human settlements. High, towering structures made of shiny stone, with walls you can see through. There are fast machines and drive on paths of gravel, and sharp saws that can cut right through the trunk of a sycamore." Watcher paused. "There is no magic, magic is actually considered evil there, especially Dark Magic. Any magic practicers will be hunted down and killed."
