    Yumi blinked as she listened. Such things were basic back at the shrine. But, it wouldn't hurt to have a refresher's course.
     Morita nodded, glancing at Willow from the corner of his eye, then back at the screen. He recognized the beings very well, as things that would make one's memories fuzzy. But, they were also things that led bigger demons to people.
     "They are attracted to dark, dank places, as well as humans with dark natures. Breathing them in can cause one's lungs to rot. They usually swarm around other demons." The teacher continued, turning to a photo of a biopsy of a human's rotted lungs. The lungs were black, and filled with maggots, though the date showed that the body had been decomposing around three hours before hand.

Retif nodded, sighing and closing his eyes. "What's the next class for both of you, again?" He asked, just before yawning.

Ken silently watched the snake shadow, which had moved over to his other arm. He was about to call the teacher over when a sharp scream of surprise was heard. He turned to see what it was, only to be flown right out of his seat when a table went flying straight into him. He groaned when he got up, pushing the table off him, half-sitting to see what had happened. What he saw instead, was the shadow of the snake attacking one of those fire beings.

Pride shook his head at Retifs question, "I had not decided fully on a class however, I had thought of going to Sorcery. Where were you heading?"

Retif looked up slightly when a shill scream, slightly muffled. He cocked his head. "I have no idea." He replied, still looking up.

History: Risa was made from black magic itself, formed by a 'evil' sorceress who had a plan to take over a kingdom using an army of her own creatures. Risa eventually became one of them, a deformed cat-being, trained to be a spy because of her camouflage ability. Even though she was simply a kit, she was forced to go in the battlefield. But in the long and tiring fight, the sorceress and her army died, but Gatito managed to 'disconnect' herself from the sorceress' magic when she was close to death. She passed out and was found by a ghost - Which was once her close comrade. The ghost raised her and eventually introduced her to the academy, where she used her black magic to try turn herself into a human and joined. Despite that she had the power to turn herself into a human, she does sometimes choose to enter lessons in her demon form. She doesn't have a home, so she lives in a alleyway, close to Retif's own 'home'.

Ken narrowed his eyes at the two battling beings, the students already creating a circle around them. Small as they may be, any sensible magic-user would know that this could be deadly. Using a hand to push himself up, he stared at the hissing snake and the snarling fire being, also noticing the teacher quickly flipping the pages of a book.

The cat-like being walked on the roof, precariously balancing on the uneven edge, skull tilted as though she was looking down. Flicking her bone tail, she paused her little walk as a small group came into her vision - Three boys, one that she knew. She had half a mind to go down and greet the ghost, Retif, but decided against it as she carefully studied the other two strangers quietly.

Gatita caught sight of the ears and tail. A werewolf...She knew them. Silently, she shifted, now laying fully to the ground. Her maroon fur slowly began to change to the colour of the roof, followed by her skull and tail. She stayed still, but her head was slightly lifted from the ground, just enough so she could see the group.

Retif cocked his head, again. "Cat?" He muttered, a interested expression coming across his face when Kiba appeared to have a tail and ears. "I can't see one." He glanced around, shrugging when he saw nobody that came close to a feline.

Willow seemed to pale at the sight of the rotting lungs, glancing away at the photo as she puffed out a disgusted breath. 'Ew...' was all she thought, soon forcing her bright blue eyes back to the teacher as she tried to get that image out of her mind.


Victor blinked his eyes slowly at the picture, seeming to blank out as he glanced to Yumi. She seemed a bit familiar about this... wasn't she slightly new too? At least he thought so... considering how she introduced herself to the class. She must have experience or something; that was the conclusion he came to.
