Nathaniel just grinned at May as she shifted from a raven to a wolf. 'Dear May, don't you ever change into anything that isn't avian or canine in nature?' He asked himself, cocking an eyebrow as she snarled at him. He knew she hated him- hated him for being outside of the cages, hated him for being the one that kept them in order, hated him for that ability he had. Which, right now, seemed like it would come in handy.
Kneeling, he glared into the shifter's eyes. 'Growl at me again, and I'll make sure you never utter another word,' he projected, staying still until the message was sent across. Then, he swung his head around, glaring at the other wolf-girl. 'Same goes for you, punk. Make another noise and I'll have that pretty little set of vocal chords ripped right out of your throat. I know those are your pride and joy, "Alpha."' After a few moments, he glanced over to Asher, who appeared to try and blend in with his surroundings. Slowly, he walked to his cage and stood there, hands folded across his chest.
"Y'know, the whole trying-to-blend-in thing really works only if you have chameleon or octopus DNA, right?" He laughed, scanning the boy's wings. "Not so easy when you have a gigantic pair of flappers."
