Help please.

So I downloaded and reinstalled the game because I accidentally deleted something I needed. I dragged everything into the right folders and when I started the game it had the direct3D9 up. Went into ge and my characters were white. So I got off and went and dragged the rest into the folders. Then I. Clicked on FH and it went to the screen where it says Direct 3D9 Subsystem except this time it said The open rendering subsystem. And wouldn't let me log on. And then I went to change the file and I changed it.   The file wouldn't save to the Direct3D9 thing. At all. And all my presets and stuff are in the right files. My characters are atill all white. Please help!

I hit save. And this happened when I clicked on the game.




I'm not sure what to do, this never happened to me like this. Please help! I went back into the file, in the main FH folder, and it didn't save the Direct3D9 thing I typed in. So I tried again, clicked on the game again, same thing. Still said OpenGL and all the other stuff.
Please someone help. Idk what I should do!

Okay, that happened to me and my friend. First try and change the markings on one of your characters, as you might have had MassMarking on before. If they are still white, then you must have messed up your markings..So go to: Local Disk>>FeralHeart
Delete the WHOLE folder called a FeralHeart, then uninstall the game. After that re-download the game. Then log in. If your character are STILL white try and change the marks! but if they are STILL white...then I'm sorry I don't know what's wrong with it.

Nevermind  I'm pretty sure I found d out what was wrong now. I had to export the presets again

Ok so is your game able to open at all? If so then open your game and start it up like normal. Then click on your options tab and go to video. From there you should be able to manually switch the rendering system through there.

Not quite sure if I get what you mean, maybe try <Red's Help Thread>? There are some good points in there, maybe it can help you. if not, try Feareh's suggestion.

No, Feareh it wasn't working at all. But as soon as I got done posting this I went into the file to change the thing to direct3D9 again and it worked. Though it scares me that it may happen again the next time I try to get in. I'll try and do that if I can get into game if I get on this weekend. I'll post again if I need something else or if something goes wrong. Thanks you guys!
