BitTorrent update?

Okay so, I'm super crazy about my computer getting viruses and all that nonsense. So, I was curious if Raz, or whoever is in charge of the BitTorrent Sync for presets has sent out an updated version?

The pop up says this:

BitTorrent Sync version 1.2.82 is available.
List of changes:
- performance and memory usage improvements
-bug fixes

Sorry this question seems a little dumb, but I just wanted to make sure if it was safe~

Aye, I'd make a copy of your FeralHeart folder if I was you. The update seems to make FeralHeart go weird. Also, you may need to install the game again after, just make sure you have that copy of your Previous FH folder so you don't lose everything. Remember to copy and replace everything after~

Oh dear, that doesn't sound good. Well I haven't done the update just yet, so maybe I'll just wait until further word? I've also heard a lot of other users saying that the sync is kinda buggy and won't show their presets. Mine thankfully, have been showing just fine. I'll definitely still make a copy of my game just to be extra safe if word on this update goes out. Thanks for the reply~

Not a problem! And the update is worth it~ It fixed a lot of bugs that happened to the sync presets~
