I have been leading this role-play for an year now and it's been an overwhelming task for just one host. So I'm calling out to those interested to be a major part of this rp. Help is needed in recruitng for members, monitoring, deciding on new ideas, find new games to expand to, and most of all re-creating The Northern Taiga. Moderating positions are available to those willing to be dedicated with interest in the Siberian world for much to come. Please be aware this is no ordinary role-play that occurs on Feral Heart We are mostly an online community with many plans!

What is the Northern Taiga?
We are an online community and a role-play focused on the vast land of Siberia where winter is the most dominant power that shapes our extraordinary plot. We are composed of three groups so far, Tsuga fauna, Boreal fauna and Vestmyer Hunters. The Northern Taiga (TNT) is  multi-species (Northern Predator-related), literate, realistic, long-term with many fun features. On Feral Heart, we encourage literacy and we are mapped with an amazing winter map called Weadhur Cliffside.

Our Purpose?
We strive for educational and creative purposes. The taiga is a huge biome yet so unknown to others with a large variety of wildlife. We want our members to engage in recognizing the endangered species that struggle in these harsh parts of the world, especially in Russia's far east where it is widely unknown due its unforgivable climate. TNT's goals is also to spread knowledge of how life is in the taiga. Creativity is what we also encourage from drawings to videos. After all, our biggest purpose is to provide a unique role-play experience for our community.


Plot Beginning
  The taiga is known as the boreal forest, which is composed of coniferous trees, with winter temperatures that can reach below -65 degrees. Winter makes it a very harsh environment to survive in, as food shortage threatens survival here. Prey is scarce, making the predators face the struggle to find food. Under the pressure of starvation, predators are lead to compete with each other for vital resources to survive. Many die to winter`s deadly grip. Starvation, competition, and the deadly freeze of winter leave many of the taiga`s life in a continuous struggle. As winter approaches the middle of its existence, many of the animals have died.
  However, there was a way to stop this endless struggle, as for two unions of predators are formed to   go against the challenges winter throws them. In an effort to unite predators in desperate need of help, many lives are saved, making life to be put at ease. Two unions of predators have at last found  the solution and continue to contribute more members. Times are slightly at peace, despite the hunger that drives them forward. This idea of uniting predators worked perfectly and the unions grew in numbers, making survival easier by working as a team. Everything was just as planned.
   But not for long....
  Humans and their fellow dogs have also become a part of this need to survive. Yet, they contain most of the food, contained in their storages. With their advanced weapons, they hunt and find food more easily. They did not realize that they are one of the reasons why there is a food shortage in the forest. Soon, a problem will arise that will set these three rival groups against each other at their first accidental meeting. It becomes a conflict of two against one. Food shortage is one problem, but now another one is born. In this battle of predator vs. prey, predator vs. predator, and predator vs. winter, mental and physical strength is the most important elements to survive
