Just go look at the episode Jailbreak, The Return, Keeping it Together, Chille Tid, Onion Trade, Friend Ship, and Onion Friend.

1. The darkness to it, unlike most shows directed towards younger audiences don't tackle things like depression and death. But Steven Universe does go towards some other dark things to, it even got away with a few things.. *Looks at the episode Onion Friend* But Lapis really made me like it, I love characters that are usually have a sad life which makes them do some crazy things.
