« on: December 31, 2013, 08:31:36 pm »
I have a question regarding 'moons' the ages of Warrior cats.
Can someone explain the ages to me? I learned that 20 moons isnt even two years, and I want to know how much is 5 moons, 10 moons, 20 moons, 30 moons, ect, ect. Maybe there is a webstie about the moons? Can someone please explain to me since I am trying to be more 'realistic' in Rping warrior cats?

I guess you aren't familiar with the books.

Well, a moon is a full moon cycle, 28 days.
Simply put, a 'moon' is a month.

One year = 12 Moons
Two Years = 24 Moons
ect, ect.

5 moons is (obviously) then 5 months.
A normal feral cat lives about 5-7 years.
So, 60-84 Moons.
That's really old.

For even MORE Details, here's a normal chart for WC:

1/2 Moon = Kits open eyes. I find this relevant.
6 Moons = Kits become apprentices
12 Moons = WARRIOR Apprentices become warriors.
16-18 Moons = MEDICINE CAT Apprentices become Medicine Cats.
40-50 Moons = The normal age for a deputy.
60+ Moons = Elder

^ That about sums it up.
Trans, gay, and ready to play

As the others have stated previously, one moon is equivalent to one month.

1 Moon = One Month
12 Moons = One year
1/4 Moon = One Week
1/2 Moon = Two Weeks
3/4 Moon = Three Weeks

And so on. If you need more help, check out the link below.
