"Y-yeah, but I-I'll be fine." She mumbled through chattering teeth. She closed her eyes to block out the lights which were getting brighter. "Probably going to have a f-few hallucinations... N-nothing too serious." She gave Ana a weak laugh and looked up at her, squinting through the bright lights overhead and the loud cacophony of the TV commercials.

Ana got up. "No, your not okay." She said standing up. "God, we can't take you to the hospital." she said. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a washcloth. Getting it wet she rung it out and came back into the room. She laid the washcloth on Sam's forehead and tucked the blankets around her.
(I'm not going to be posting for a bit. I need to get some stuff done. I'll be on later.)

Sam shook her head "N-N0, I'll be fine..." she pulled the sheets up tighter around her. She closed her eyes for a minute, "The venom will wear off in a little while. J-Just don't let anyone in..." she felt better when Ana put the rag on her head, at least the headache was getting better. She opened her eyes again, and was startled when she saw thick black coils of fog in the corner of the room. They twisted and spiraled in an almost hypnotic fashion and she looked at Ana "The fog. It's not really there is it?" she asked quietly, pointing a shaky finger at the corner.

Ana sighed. She looked over at the spot that Sam was pointing at. "No, there isn't any fog." She said sitting down on the bed. she looked around the room then stood back up and headed towards the kitchen. She looked through the fridge for something to eat.

Sam whimpered as the fog drew closer and Ana left the room. Suddenly it shot out and coiled around her neck. She screamed and it felt like the fog had begun to constrict and she clawed at her throat.

Ana slammed the fridge closed and ran back into the bedroom. She ran over to Sam. She was screaming and clawing at her neck. "Sam calm down!" She said grabbing hold of her shoulders. She sat on the bed looked at Sam. "There is nothing there!" She said.
