Use a "soft" (right word?) brush. One with a smooth edge. And to add a little glow effect, I use orange (if you use red) and bring out some main points (agein, right word?) in the middle of where it should glow.
....
Say if that wasn't understandable, then I give you an example. ^^"

Okay, I just made a quick one. It's a bit crappy, but you should see, what I mean.

Of course you have to use a soft brush for the orange shades, too. Mine looks a bit... yeah, crappy. ;D

Um, did you mean that? Does it help you? :)

As far as I know, there is no glow colour, yes. ;)
To make it glow even in dark ingame, you have to use the code like Sully posted in the first post of this thread.

Yes. Honestly, I just use a bright colour for my markings, but you can do what Lupa says to make it seem glowy, either way though, all you need to use is the glow code to make it glow. The added effort by Lupa would probably make it much better.

I tried making a test one and my preset ended up looking like this

I tried changing the script from "material preset_10_bodyMatL" to "material preset_5_bodyMatL" because i was using the 5th preset. If i left it as 10 preset 5 wouldnt show up on FH it would be preset 3, preset 4, preset 6, it would take preset 5 out. Wat am i doing wrong?
