Feralheart game crashing!?

So, everytime I get onto feralheart, there is probably a 99 percent chance that my game with shut off, i have asked others about this and they told me that it was because there is 'bugs' in the system. It has been happening for a while and I can't go anywhere else besides Lonely Cave and then the snow place (forgot what its called at the moment) I own a Mac computer, can someone pleas help me? And I just got mass markings to work for me now it wont let me play, advise please?

If you have a windows, Direct 3D will not work on it, so ensure that you are playing in OpenGL by going to options>video settings>game>OpenGL then restart your game. To prevent this problem of crashing, you can go to a less populated map, if you're still experiencing this in another map. Then that's still not unusual.. try adjusting your game settings, shut off your water reflection and view distance, including nametags.

EDIT: I notice there's another thread you posted on. Perhaps this is already solved?

Okay, I checked which setting i was playing in, it was already on OpenGL. And whenever i try going to another map, it just shuts off the game... And how do I shut off my water reflection and veiw distance? etc.

Oh, and I tried getting help there, but nothing worked since im using a Mac.

Try going into startup menu and right clicking fh then click Run As Administrator

Right click the setup.

Right click the FeralHeart icon on your desktop and select "Run ans Administrator" If that does not work, try these options:

Games not opening up? Try this easy way! Windows 7-8/Vista/XP

Try this for both FeralHeart and your other
games that will not open, or simply crash at the start:



Right click the game icon on your desktop and select "Properties"
then click on "Compatibility and follow the instructions in the image above.
When you reach the dropdown box, select the format you are using~
Finally, click "Apply" then "OK".

Also, For FeralHeart (If the game won't open) open up your main FeralHeart Folder
and open up a config file named "ogre" in notepad (or any other word document) and replace it with this:

Then save and relaunch the game! (If nothing takes affect, try restarting
your computer too.) However, if FeralHeart DOES open and it leads onto the title screen
then go to Options\Video\Rendering Subsystem\Direct3D9 then relaunch the game~

Go to options and view Interface or Video to turn off/lower the reflections, distance, etc.
