Katrina padded away from the scene, her ears pinned back as she avoided the urge and the curiosity that pressured her to glance back. With a frustrated sigh, she made her way back into the forest, her tail swishing calmly behind her. She decided she would need food sooner or later. Pausing to glance around, she spotted a rather small raptor-like creature, it's head stuck into a log as it scavenged for food. Katrina lowered her body, tucking her tail between her legs and pinning her ears back as she began to crawl towards the creature. It's scent filled her nose, the hunger took over, and she lunged forward, taking it down. An easy kill, but it satisfied her hunger for the most part.
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

[[ Changing Kriset's breed to a Tamaskan ]]

Kavern

Raising his head, Kavern peered around the bushes, impatiently waiting for Kriset to return. His tail thumped against the ground as he plopped down, feeling bored as his eyes gazed around. His thoughts traced back to when he and Kriset were being chased by that...creature. A shudder ran through his spine as he immediately glanced around, cautious of his surroundings. The shiver of the bushes nearby caused Kavern to swing his head abruptly as he sprang onto his paws, leaning forward. The thought of another creature, or dinosaur, ran through his head as he slowly backed up, tucking his tail under his legs. A sharp yelp escaped his jaws as the figure bursted out, sending the bushes wildly waving as the figure stood in front of him. However, Kavern perked up, seeing Kriset with a limp carcass hanging from his jaws. A sly smirk was spread out onto the Tamaskan's face. Kavern stared grumpily at his partner. "You scared me!" The Foxhound exclaimed, a cross looking appearing over his face. Kriset let out a snort.

"Hmph. When are you never scared?" Without another word, the older canine spat out the kill, nudging it over to Kavern. "Eat up. You're going to need enough strength to continue on with this, journey." Kriset muttered, heading back over to the bending tree. His body leaned against it as he seated his haunches down, before staring at Kavern. His ears perked at the sudden groans coming from nearby; he narrowed his eyes as he cautiously moved forward. Parting the bushes, Kriset peered out, peeling back his lips at what seemed to be an Indian dog sprawled onto her back as a few creatures let out several groans. Suspicious, Kriset threw a brief glance at Kavern, who was slowly nibbling at the carcass with a disgusted look on his face. Brushing it off, the Tamaskan moved forward, his whole front body out of the bushes.

"Psst," Kriset hissed in attempt to catch the female's attention. "You alright?"

Teegan
"Ohana means Family. Family means no one gets left behind"

The Indian dog continued to roll around in the middle of the large herd of Dinosairs-her tongue hanging loosely from the side of her maw as she let out playful yaps. Although it was best to be wary of these creatures she seen them as friends, pack mates even. With her legs arched in the air she continued to wave them, the Dinosaurs seeming to accept her and carefully mould around her. Hearing someone call she came to a sudden stop and quickly rolled onto her stomach with her head tilted. Teegans tail continued to beat against the ground as she glanced around. Seeing the faint figure of a canine in the bushes she smiled and let out a bark-her ears going erect as he asked a question. Nodding she lifted to her paws and quickly trotted over-her tail curled over her back as she came to a sudden stop infront of the male. Allowing her tongue to run across her lips she spoke "Yeah I'm fine!" she exclaimed with a quiet bark her tail rapidly waggig and her head remained tilted at the unfamiliar canine.

Kriset

Kriset shot a glance at the other creatures as they seemed to be welcoming her. "Well, that's something new," he muttered to himself, returning his attention back onto the female. He gave a brief nod, unsure if he should linger around anymore - just in case if this canine was a lunatic to be hanging around dinosaurs. As he prepared to back out of the bushes in attempt to end the conversation, he nearly started in surprise at the shake of the bushes besides him. With a small groan, he realized that Kavern had also poked his head out, too.

"Whatcha doing, Kriset?" The Foxhound inquired, leaning out to sniff the female. "Is this your friend too?" Kriset shot a harsh glare at Kavern, wishing the youngster had never stuck his little poopy head out.

"First of all, it's obvious I'm about to leave, and no, she isn't my friend." The Tamaskan prepared to head back to where the carcass was, however Kavern stopped him.

"Why is she hanging out with dinosaurs? I thought they were bad. Is she bad?" The question made the older canine pause as he glanced from the female to the foxhound.

"Look, I don't even know her, nor do I want to," Kriset snapped, before continuing on, "But what matters is that we head back to the carcass, finish it up, and start continuing to wherever we're going." Forcing a urge in his last words, Kriset turned and began to head back to the carcass. He slowly stopped, his ears lifting as he heard Kavern's voice, directed to the female.

"Where're you going? It looks like fun, with those creatures there!" Kriset mentally softened, relieved that Kavern had not asked anything stupid, like to come along or something in that way. However, the next question the foxhound asked made the Tamaskan almost snarl. "Can we come too?!"

((Mayah you're accepted))

Teegan
"Ohana means Family. Family means no one gets left behind"

As Teegan continued to trot over she soon came to a sudden stop-seeing another smaller canine hop out of the bushes and begin conversation with the unfamiliar male. Shrugging the youngster sighed and turned her head back towards the group of herbivores, her tail wagging as she watched a few of the youngsters harshly play with one another-and the elders seeming to continue their grazing. The Indian dogs head jerked back a little as her jaws parted, a whine like sound coming out of her maw followed by a yawn. Giving a brisk shake to her head Teegan stopped, a few feet away from the Dinosaurs and a few feet away from the forest. Lowering onto her stomach she rolled onto her side allowed her tail to lightly tap against the grassy ground, her tongue hanging out the side of her maw. The two canines voices behind her could be heard, although it was hard to make out what they were saying. Letting out a whine like sound once again she began to shuffled around then retrieving her tongue back into her maw she lay motionless-the only thing moving was her stomach as she took in small breaths. Hearing a voice not to far away her ears twitched as a confused look sprawled across her face, lifting to her stomach she turned to look at the two canines-the younger one seeming to ask her a question. Licking her lips the Indian dog shuffled to her paws and looked thinking about the question he previously asked-her tri-coloured tail curled over as it wagged. "Sure you guys can!" she barked bowing down into a playful bow but quickly getting a hold of herself and brushing off the excitement-her tongue hanging clumsily from the side of her maw.

[[ @Taylor: It's alright ]]

Kriset

A small groan escaped Kriset's mouth as he glanced at the female. "Sorry, but I don't think Kav-" His sentence was cut short when Kavern abruptly pushed past him to join the female. Narrowing his eyes, suspicious lashed through the Tamaskan as he muttered something low under his breath. Without another word, Kriset shoved his way back to where the carcass laid, and scooped it up in his jaws. It wasn't much as it was earlier, since Kavern had taken some bites out of it. Caring less, Kriset headed back to where Kavern and the female was, before spitting out the carcass. It flopped over onto the ground, motionless. Resting on his haunches, he merely sulked to himself, a little annoyed with Kavern and his childish act. He examined the Indian dog for a moment, as if seeing if she was worthy enough to be spoken to, or trusted. At last, Kriset gave a slight shake to his head, before trailing his gaze over to Kavern, who was trying to interact with a young dinosaur. Kriset snarled to himself and prepared to call out to Kavern, when he stopped himself. For Anuke's sake! They're herbivores! They can't hurt him, Kriset scolded himself mentally. However, he still kept an eye on the youngster; wary of the dinosaurs, despite the fact that they were herbivores.
