How to post videos on the forums

I wanna share a video that I really like, but how do I post it on the forums? besides putting the link, you know, the actual video

Generally these embedded videos only work (to my knowledge) if it's a YouTube video. Simply copy the link on the YouTube video, and paste it into your post. The forum should automatically post it as an embedded video that you can click to play it. c:

If it's not a YouTube video, then I'm not sure the SMF (our type of forum) will embed it into the post.
