What have I done... Please help!

I was in the map maker and I accidentally saved a blank watermill map into the original watermill file, and now the log in screen has a watermill map with no plants or other objects on it. What can I do to get them back?

Yeah once you do something to the watermill map it'll show up on the title screen as the background.

I'm not sure if you can change this. The only thing I know is to re-install Feral Heart and the map will be fine, or come up as it was. If there is another way, I never heard of it. If there isn't, then if you really want the map back and such, remember to back up any important files before installing Feral Heart again.

If there is another way instead of re-installing and someone knows, just ignore this then.

If you have other items you want to keep that did not come with the original Feral Heart, then install it with a different name and only replace Watermill files.

You can always re-install FH.
Also be sure to save items, maps and presets. Markings should be re-installed too.

So all you're seeing is the Watermill terrain (with hills and water) but just no objects? This can be fixed without re-installing, I've done it before.

Go to your Feralheart >> Media >> Terrains >> Watermill folder and open up the WaterMillObjects.cfg file with a program such as Notepad. It should be empty, yes?

Copy all the text here and paste it into the empty .cfg file you have opened. Then click File >> Save.

Open up Feralheart and hopefully everything should be back in order

I tried doing what you did, but WaterMill still looks empty. I checked the Objects folder in WaterMill and the code was still there. I don't know what's the problem :I

As I said before, re-install FH, but be sure to save presets, maps and screenshots.

Okay, I found a better way to fix it. I was lucky I visited my granny last week and she had FH downloaded on her computer too so I could save the watermill file in Gmail and download it at home computer. It did work, so I got it fixed
