'Invalid Username or Password,' False. Help Please?

Ok;
So my friend is having trouble with her account. It keeps saying that she has an 'Invalid Username or Password.' She has tried countless times to log in, but with no prevail.

So she went to the form, and tried to re-set her password, but when she put in her email it said, 'Your password reset request failed because a User with the specified username and e-mail address could not be found..'

Same when logging on to the forum, it simply said her account was not activated.

.. She was on with me this morning RPing, got off for a few, then came back and this started happening.

She DOES understand that when typing things, FH it caps-lock sensitive, and she had tried many times with no good results.

So it seems like her account... was deleted?

Upset, she turned to me to post this so: Any way she can get out of this pickle? Or does it boil down to just getting a new account?

Hey! So, I've noticed lots of help threads about this. Look here instead! It's usually just little things that are easy to fix.


1. Make sure your caps lock is not on. The login is caps sensitive! Make sure you're typing everything correctly.

2. Do not use the numpad! Use the numbers above the alphabet on your keyboard.

3. Does your username or password have any unusual symbols such as ?$!@*-_ ect.? This can mess things up for some people. Make a new account if you're having trouble with symbols. If you make a new one, please try to stick with a-z letters, nothing capitalized.

4. Make sure that your keyboard language is in English! It won't log you in unless you have a US keyboard setting.

5. If you're trying to log on ingame, make sure the server is up and running. You can do this by looking at the top of the banner of this forum.

6. Make sure you are logging in with your username, not forum nickname. My actual username is JazzForLife, and I log in with that. I do not use Jazzz, because that is my forum nickname.

7. Even if you change your password on the forum, your password for the game will always be the same you signed up with.

I'm afraid she will have to get a new account Ms. This is due to she hasn't activated her e-mail when she first registered for said account. If one does not activate his/her e-mail, then the server, over time, will fail to recognize the username anymore thus it will be disabled. I advise she immediately activates her e-mail next time she registers for a new username.

Just a question continuing to this post (Because I was also helping this friend and it could help us both in the future) How do we know for sure that our account was activated? It would be a shame to make the slip twice in a row~

You have to log in to your email account, and check your mails, once you see the Feralheart mail, You click it and you will see a link to activate your account, Make sure that you activated it before 24 hours that I know of, because I think if you dont activate it, then your account will no longer work.
