Crashing entering Southpole (Fixed)

Well I haven't been to southpole in quite some time so I went, but each time I attempt going there it crashes. My laptop is not the feralheart-crashing type and it use to work fine going in there some time ago. I'm thinking I may have accidently edited or got a file or just did something that caused this. Any ideas or things I can possibly redownload(like main files) to fix it? I can tell you I'm not reinstalling fh. I have too much important as well as other stuff on it.

What rendering system are you running FH on? If you are running the game in OpenGL switching it to Direct 3D9 and see if anything happens. Also perhaps you could be missing some files such as the weather for South Pole.
Try switching rendering systems, but if nothing works im afraid that re-installing the game is the best option. when re-installing you can try to move important files out of there and back in when its reinstalled.
