Hacked Account

First, before I explain:

I apologize if this is in the wrong place of the forums. If so, MOD's please move it in the correct place. I am guessing this will be resolved quickly anyway, or so I hope. I'm new to making posts, I'm sorry. It probably is in the wrong place.

To the point, my account 'mally587' got hacked. The person who hacked it knew my password and info and changed the password. When I confronted them they refused to give me the account back. They have stolen all of my characters and account and will probably impersonate me aswell, and steal everything on the account. MOD's I would be happy to give more info in a private message, as I would like this to get taken care of ASAP. If a password reset is available, PLEASE help me. If not I am requesting the account to be closed and deleted permanently as I have no control over it anymore and I'm pretty sure if they get banned while playing the account my IP address will get banned with it. Not sure how that works.

I sent one of the MOD's a PM on the forums here but I do not believe it went through.

Also, I am very sorry if I seem like I'm trying to cause drama. I am not trying to at all.

Ah don't worry this just might be the right place to post, at least you send a pm to the mods about your account, I hope you get your account back ^^

Don't worry, the person who hacked you will have a problem from a mod.
I hope you get your account back.
When you do, make a password so difficult even for the person who hacked you.

Maybe make a new account insted of waiting? Or.....

I know the hacker IRL, and when confronted they denied everything. They stole everything. Dx I am hoping the MOD's can just give me a password reset and I can hope everything is still there.

Keep in mind, though, you can very easily go to the "Forgot you password?" link at the top of the forum, put in your email address, and then log into your email to reset the password.

Just as well, make sure that you very carefully guard your account information. Keep it somewhere safe, memorize it, and don't tell anyone, ever, what it is, even if you trust them.

Also, I have tried, but it says the email doesn't match the account and when I went to log into the email that is linked to the account it doesn't exist.


And yes, I have learned my lesson for sure.. I will remember to never give it to anyone again, even if I think I can trust them.
