Hello all.~ ^-^

So I was in FP a few days ago sending out movie advertisements for an rp, when it suddenly hit me- We used to send out advertisements in the general chat! I had completely forgotten that we ever used it. And I'm not going to lie, when I first saw the announcement that the general chat in public maps was going to be removed, I wasn't very happy.

'How will roleplays get members if we can't send out ads?' 'What price are we going to have to pay for this?' That's what I was constantly thinking- but here I am today, perfectly immune to using movies to get members. It surprises me how I could get upset over something, only to forget about it later. c:

Looking back, I realize how much I, and many others overreacted. So what about you? Have you forgotten about the general chat as well? Or are you still wishing that it would come back?

Honestly, I pretty much nearly forgotten about general chat, Ofcourse all of us misses general, but the staff had a decision...so that happened, it will be the best for us anyway, the movie clips are a bit useful though, but it gets hard when people spam, so that's what I'm saying for this topic

I'm still wishing and waiting patiently for its return. Too many negative changes have happened due to its removal to me. There has been some positive things but the negative side outweighs.

The General Topic really was put to a end a long time ago, and if i remember correctly i believe the staff dosn't want anyone to be starting up anything that has anything to do with the "General Chat" topic on here. So this thread might get locked just cause of the theory that it might spark up tension with other users.
General Chat removal does have its Positive and Negative topics in it, but generally its best to always look at the brighter part of things. It is unknown if General Chat will ever come back, but in the meantime it will be unusable in game.

See, I haven't been around long enough to miss it!

I literally had general chat for a WEEK, before it was removed X'D And I was busy being a nooblet not understanding basic controls and such, so the difference doesn't bother me at all...

MANY MANY MANY people have complained about it, and, I'm afraid, are still complaining about it. Whenever I'm chilling at SB, there's always that one person who brings up the want for general's return - so I don't think it's over yet. :3

I almost forgot about the General chat >.>
I never used the General Chat but I knew it was important for some peeps.
Not completely sure but I think General won't visit Feral-Heart again because the spam might happen again.
Not that this is negative I still wish General will be brought back to life.

In my opinion, General will never truely die. There will always be on of us older members who've been around for years to complain about the "Good Ol' Days" and how much better things were. I honestly never really used General. It was pretty much just for people who were bored to go and make random conversations. I can't remember who, but I believe a few years back one of the admins, it was one of the earlier ones, said something about it being for people who just wanted attention. I completely forgot about it until I saw this.

I miss it. Movies work.. sometimes, but General gave me and other roleplay creators the chance to be much more creative and informational then movies do.

Answering your thread question, yes, I remember the General Chat. However, as addressed by Feareh earlier, the discussion of General Chat was put to rest a while ago. Due to the sensitivity of the topic, it is preferred that we do not bring it up for open conversation. I will agree they were both positive and negative consequences to having the chat when it was active, but there has already been time for input on the topic, and it's locked now. Mostly due to the growing aggression towards fellow members, namely the staff.

Of course I remember General Chat, but I've grown to live without it. To be honest, I rarely ever used General chat. I'm usually too busy roleplaying with friends or just chatting with random people in local to even think about it.
