Some very good things to keep in mind regarding presets and preset sync:-Wrongly named exported preset can show for you, but no one elseA very common thing that people have made mistakes on in the past, and still can happen when using preset sync is that people export their presets with certain capital letters, while their username only consists of small or other way around. As an example, if your true username is "waffle" and you sign into the game and export it as the user "Waffle" it will only show for you, no one else. Other users and their game will recognize you from what username and capitalization the server provides, not what you write when logging in. Double check and make sure your preset is exported correctly with big and small letters as it should.
-Just because you upload the preset to the server, it will not mean everyone has it instantlyThe preset sync does pretty much what the name says, it syncs in real time with the server and what sort of preset is on there. It can take some time, several minutes or even longer for some. The presets needs to be downloaded by each and everyone using preset sync, some people might not even run it 24/7 which means they might need to actually start it up bittorrent sync first before anything. So not only does another user need to have sync installed, but they need to have run it recently if you just uploaded a new preset to the server, not everyone does this.
-If game is running it might need a restartOther people might also need to restart their game if they kept it running for a longer while, to my understanding the presets will not show unless you re-log at least, and with this newer preset sync thing a whole game restart might be needed, so taking for granted that people actually have bit torrent sync running and that they have your working preset downloaded, they might need to restart their game too if they kept it running before your upload and the changes done to the presets on the server.
-Making sure that preset sync is properly installedLastly, make sure you actually have your preset sync installed correctly. Some people have told me in the past they can see my preset but I cannot see theirs. One reason could be that I include my preset in my custom mods and their installers since a over a year back now which can be misleading for some.
Here's a video explaining how to properly set up preset sync:
