Sky/Weather files not found and not working?
« on: May 15, 2014, 11:07:33 am »
So I have been trying to make my first map for a few weeks now. And everything was running smoothly until I exported it, and then the map portal disappeared from Cape when I was going to check out my finished product!

My friend told me "You need a fhs and a fhw file." So I made weather and a sky, and when I go to type it into the place in the map maker it says that my file is not found.

I've read a few threads on here about something similar, but they're a bit hard to follow. Can someone tell me what exactly I am doing wrong? I also have no idea where the files go after being exported- I'm guessing into exports. But how do I know which files to select to move into another folder to give out to friends? Can someone explain, simply, how to fix this?

Basically you have to select the name of the sky from the first tab in the sky maker. That's stuff where you can edit your sky. Then in a weather tab, you can create a cycle, and I believe at the bottom of that it has things such as LightRain, Rain, Snow. But if you want no weather, I believe you just don't give a weather file. Also if you want to have just normal FH skies like in the rest of the game, then just leave both blank. And maybe you didn't get all the files when you exported it?

Try what has been stated above by EchoFrost255, but if that doesn't work try looking for something in the FeralHeart member mad tutorial section. That 'might' help you find something. :)
