Cant Open Game...

So I click to open my feral heart icon and the FH setup pop's up and I click ok. Immediately after that it say's that FH has stopped working and my laptop closes it.

This all started happening right after I downloaded and installed textures for my maps.

please help?

Hm, one thing that I can think of that MIGHT help would be to go to your FH folder and then go to media then to particles and delet and _01 or _02. Something similar to this anyways.

I've had this same thing happen to me in the past. The most I can think of is to just uninstall then reinstall the game, as painstaking as it may be. That's what worked for me, anyway, for some reason that I don't know. Whether that helps or not, I wish you luck with your problem, love.

Your characters will not since they aren't saved to our computer - they're saved to a server. You items, maps, etc will, unless you save them to your desktop, or somewhere other than FeralHeart when you reinstall.

Alright... I have notepad open.. I just don't understand what to do next...

Is that file open in notepad? (If not, go into computer > (C drive; local disk) > Feralheart and find the file called "ogre", which is a .cfg file type. The right click it > open with.. > Find notepad.) If it is, see those first to lines? If it says:

Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]

change it to

Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]

And vise versa. That should do it. :3

*Sighs* It didn't work... I really don't want to get rid of chars...

I promise you - your characters will not be deleted. Your Feralheart isn't storing them. They aren't on your computer at all. If you uninstall, your charscter will not be deleted since they are saved on another server.
Even though your characters will not be deleted, your maps, screenshots, mods, etc will unless you save them somewhere other than the Feralheart folder.
