Downloaded map crashes whenever entered

Hello everyone!
I've recently joined a new mapped RP and I have had some trouble with the map. I've been in many mapped RPs and made many maps for others (and myself), so I'm not particularly new to this. I downloaded the RP's map and followed the readme instructions carefully, then went on FH to try out the map. The map's portal appears in cape, and the map seems to be loading normally when I enter, but after approximately 20 seconds FH crashes with a "Feralheart.exe has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution to the problem." The map is fairly large and detailed, however I have a very fast computer meant for using and creating complex 3D graphics so a large size map shouldn't be a problem. I have created maps of over 100 000 and it hasn't crashed, and there's plenty of gigabytes left on my machine. I checked through the exports folder for duplicates and found none, I reread the instructions and tried re-downloading the map, and I also tried switching from Direct to openGL. Nothing's worked so far, and I'd really appreciate a bit of help. The other members of the Rp have downloaded the map, and it works fine for them. The rest of Feralheart is working normally, including all of my other maps.

Try re-running the game, the game loves to glitch or lag out when connecting to different maps, and crashes as you stated. Or, if you feel it's not going to work, follow this tutorial to retrieve the character:

So, today, I'm going to show you how to Retrive your characters if they are stuck somewhere.

Let us begin shall we?

First, log in on the forums and click User Panel


Next, log in again


Next, find the character that has gotten stuck.....


Click either Send Home or Reset Home, Send home will send your character to their set home, reset home will send your character to lonely cave.


If you want to upload a preset, use the Preset Uploader, and upload a file.

If you also wanted, you could reset your entire account, friends, characters ect.

I retrieved my character already, and tried to enter the map multiple times on different characters, doesn't seem to make a difference

Does this particular map you're trying to enter have particles?
That's what usually crashes my FH in other's maps.

I suggest to try the map on a clean Feralheart installation, some maps can cause troubles when they are merged with others.
If you dont want to delete your actual maps on your game, you can have FeralHeart installed twice in your computer with no problems (but you will need to redo the desktop shortcut)
