Something old, something new.
« on: July 10, 2014, 08:40:53 am »

TL;DR: Starting out fresh.

After an almost 1 year break from FeralHeart, I decided to come back.
I was, however, slightly embarrassed at my past self (Not that I said or did
things against the rules, I was just going through an extra awkward phase. I'm
also fairly sure that when I'll re-read this post somewhere in the future
I'll cringe at it too.), so I decided to create a new account. Luckily I was
able to catch the registration open in a matter of three days.

I wasn't well known anyways, therefore my old username would just be a waste
of space. So I might as well start with a couple things about myself.

I'd say that I'm a pretty boring person overall, but then again, that might
be just my point of view.

English is a second language, quite obvious I'd say thanks to my
grammar, which I hope I can improve on. Pardon my mistakes for now.

My hobbies include doodling on random scraps of paper, playing out stories
in my head, taking terrible photos that I regret five minutes later with
my phone and the occasional movie watching. My town doesn't have a cinema,
so I usually have to wait for online versions of said films.

For some reason I enjoy reading, playing, or watching things that can
keep me awake at night. The paranormal and horror genres, if you like.

I'm a huge fan of sleeping in but my problem is that I don't enjoy sleep
itself for most of the part. It's a strange combo. It's like adoring
mornings, but hating to wake up early. I'm guilty of that too.

Despite only visiting one other country besides my own (which statement will
hopefully change soon), I do have a desire to travel and see as much of the
world as I can. Cliche, I know.

I can't say that I'm skilled in the art of RolePlay, but I could give it a
try one day or another.

I have yet to create actual in-game characters, considering this account
was made a mere couple of hours ago.

This is getting too long, so I'll end it here. It feels like
I'm cutting off in the middle of something, but that might be just me. These
last two sentences are actually filler. Sorry.

I think it seems like you're English is perfectly normal.
You sound like a wonderful person. Welcome back!
No need to be embarrassed. C:

Yay! Another person has returned! From your awkward waddle back then to a proud strut now!
Just make sure you look over the rules and such again to refresh your memory!

How I appear in front of new people (even on the internet) is one of my major insecurities. A thorn in my side one that is.
I wouldn't exactly call myself wonderful, but I really appreciate your kind words. It's good to be back.

Believe me, I've had plenty of time to check out the rules while waiting for the registration to open.
It does seem like people are starting to return. I'd say it's thanks to the summer.

I bid ye' a welcome back to the FeralHeart community, Ms. Lucid. I blame ye' not on deemin' yerself not what ye'd hope in yer past experiences. I too sometimes feel that way but it comes to show how much one changes over time- whether that be for better or for worse.
Ye're also a fan of the morbid, I take it? Now I'm rather interested as I too am a fan of horror. Quite enthrallin' to the heart.
Coincidences aside, I'm pleased to see a user decidin' to return no matter how long that may be. I look forward to seein' ye' around, Ms. If ye' have any questions, know ye're free to send either I a PM or ye' can also contact the Help boards 'n ask yer fellow Ferals. The decision is up to ye' when/if certain occurrences arise.

Horror does have a particular thrill to it. Can't quite put my finger on it right now though.
I'm certainly going to enjoy my time lurking round these forums again. I've met plenty of lovely people before and I hope I'm going to meet
even more.
