Sessions timing out?

Everytime I try to post something on the fourms this would pop up

"Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message."
It's not just on the forum it also happens when trying to Pm too.
Can someone help me ?

Does it just appear at the top of the message box or does it take you to a new page all together?
If it just appeared over the top of the message you typed, just re-submit it. That happened probably because you were typing for a long time.
If it takes you to a new page all together I'm afraid I'm not sure how to help at that point. I'd just say go back and start your post over. A good way to prevent losing all your typing IF that happens is to drag your mouse over it and copy all of it. Then if it takes you to a new page, you'll still have the work you did copied.

Try logging in from here (picture below). And if you do already, log in from that other box that the top of the forum.


If that doesn't work, maybe try using another browser. Also, if you don't want to type that whole message again, you can use CTRL + C to copy, and CTRL + V to paste.

This was happening to me the other day and was really annoying because it happened after every post I did.
Only re-log in where it asks you to
Don't log in at the top where the main logging in part is.
It worked for me~

Log out from both the site and forum.

Log in only on the forum using the fields AlphaEclipse showed above.

The session time outs come from what has been explained above, you taking a long time to finish up your posts and the page you are on "times out" and needs to be reloaded. If you are not taking a long time to post however, and it happens on close to every message, it's more than likely due to you being double logged both on the site and the forum itself, they got a tendency to interfere with each other once in a while. I'd suggest just logging into the Site login next to the banner when you really have to(when resetting characters or uploading presets), otherwise just stick to the forum itself.

I have to admit I had that issue a bit too, but after WhiteLightHeart told me to do basically what Red said it helped out a lot, and I can still post to people on the forum. My issues so far though is not being able to receive PM's.

If you don't receive your messages it's most likely due to you using a display name already worn by someone else that registered their account before you. Just add a "." or "-" or something to the beginning or the end of your forum display name and it shall work.
