I nodded, I ran to catch Goldentail. "Goldentail, wait." He stopped and looked at me. "What do you want?" I looked him in the eyes. "I'm leading you away from the clans because you're heading towards Shimmer clan. They are nice, but hate rogues like you." I walked the other way and he followed. I knew where we were, but he didn't. He was a rogue. "I'm taking you away from all clans." He looked up. "Where?" "Away not near us. Where you can't hurt anymore cats." He growled, but walked on. Finally there was a mingle of scents, the gathering place. It was nearly sunhigh by the time I was in the center of the gathering. Then we walked without talking, finally the Twoleg place. "Why did you take me here???" I tackled him by surprise, then I bit him. He tried to get up but was weak. Then I bit his back leg, hard. I stood him up, he was limping. I pulled him along by the scruff. I went to the edge of the Twoleg boundary, looking for ways to get in. I saw a small hole, I picked Goldentail up again and dragged him towards it. He could move, but was very weak. He limped with me holding him, to the hole. I pushed him through and went after him. "You will be safe here. what ever you do, do not kill the twolegs." He just looked at me. "Why here, why?" "They will help you. You can be better, they will heal you. You also can't harm anymore cats. Just never come back to the clans." I pulled him to the step in front of the door. "From now on, you are a Kittypet." He looked at me surprised. "Wai-" I yowled, as if I were in pain. I saw Goldentail sit down. His injured leg looked awkward, but the twolegs would notice that. I ran to the tall boundary, to the hole. I ran into the Bush next to it. The door opened, a female came out and saw him. "A cat, honey a cat." That was all I heard. I ran out the hole as I saw them pick him up and take him inside the nest. "You're safer here." I silently whispered to no one. I raced off the moon was rising. I spent too much time away. I was at the center of the gathering place. It was halfway between moonrise and moonhigh. I raced on. Then I saw a plump rabbit, caught it. I was near the entrance to my camp. I walked in at moonhigh with one rabbit and two mice. I placed them both in the fresh kill pile. I walked to the nursery, caring for another kit, Spiritkit. I licked him and he purred we fell asleep soundly.

Goldentail
I was taken in by the Twolegs. The wrapped silk around my bitten leg. It hurt. I knew I was safe now, but I was starved. I awkwardly walked over to the food dish. I took a bite, and liked it. I ate most of it, then drank some of the water in the bowl. I saw the small nest, and walked to it and curled up in it. From this moment I knew I was a Kittypet, meaning I could never taste a mouse again.
