Item Glitch? {FIXED}
« on: July 20, 2014, 02:24:09 am »
Hey everyone<3
Ever since I downloaded items and etc,
I usually see people wearing unfitting items.
After a while, I notice while people are talking about the
items that they are wearing and what looks good on them,
I see they are wearing something else and not what they are saying they wear.
I have the same Item packs as other people do.

So in other words,
I see them wearing different items than what they are really wearing.
The markings do not have that problem though.

Yes I correctly copied and pasted the item placing into items.cfg.
No I did not mess with them.
Yes I did reinstall the game and still have the same glitch.
I have the Pawesome Item Pack v5 or whatever.

I would highly appreciate suggestions and feedback.
Thank you for viewing.

EDIT:
Ahhhh Yes it was the way How I "copied and pasted."
I just needed to replace the Items.cfg with the Items.cfg from the Item Pack...
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR FEEDBACK AND COMMENTS<3

Ahh I see your problem! No issue at all! And not an item glitch. You did everything correctly :)
Your issue here is that your friends have different item packs that you have. You may have an older item pack, and may need to update it. Or you may have the newest one, and your friends need to update theirs.

You can find the updated topic here. Last updated 6/3/14 :)

Hrrrmmmm.... *strokes beard*

Are you sure both you AND your friend had the item pack that was updated 6/3/14? I personally have not downloaded that one, so I don't know all the items very well. It seems as though you're seeing a nine tails item, but not the correct color. The only other thing I'm familiar with that might be interfering is if you have your own personal item? Have you had ANY other items besides the default and the items pack you have now? Such as one you had made for you, etc? If not make sure that you don't have TWO items.cfg files. That also might be causing me issue. That's all I can think if for now

How did you "copy and paste" the item placing into the .cfg? Are your sure you replaced everything that was originally in there? Make sure there's not any "2 spaces" inbetween the items, etc. Basically make sure you didn't just paste the new words in the .cfg file to the end of the already existing one.

Another way of overwriting a file would be to just copy and paste it into C:/Feralheart; without opening the file at all, if you didn't do that.

I can't see why it's not working; you seem to be doing everything correctly... Are you using a Mac by any chance?

No There are no custom items. :) Thank you for helping anyway. It is not so much of a big problem. It is probably true that the others do not have the latest one.

Nah I dont have a mac xP
I had a feeling it might have something to do with the items.cfg....
otherwise, if that doesn't work completely,
it wont be a very much of a big deal anyway. :)
