Intangible Objects
« on: September 10, 2014, 11:12:49 pm »
I am making a map for my pack, and I downloaded a bed from one of Thierry's item packs, but it won't let me stand on top of it. I can leap through it like it isn't there, and that's not going to work out so well. It's the same with most of my other objects. Help? Please respond quickly.

Load up the bed in Object Maker, and go to the second tab. Make sure that "Own Collision" is checked, then save it again. You should be able to stand on it now. Hope this helps!

If Own Collision is on, then this is probably just one of the glitches, like how you can get inside of a tree.

Right, but I tried that with ALL of my downloaded objects, and it was the same, with Own Collision checked.

Sometimes objects have several parts attached to them that build them up into one object. In the case of an object having several seperate parts making it up you may need to be sure each part has it's own collision. Select each of the parts of the object and add collision to them. Or at least add a collision to the parts that you want.
