Hello everyone~ (New to Feral-Heart)

Hello! I made this account at some point while registration was open a few months ago, but I never even downloaded the game. Today I downloaded it and am looking forward to getting to know the community and hopefully enjoy some fun roleplay.

Only thing is, I don't know anybody on here at all! I am also so overwhelmed with all the new things to do. If anybody could help me out with questions and maybe show me around that would be great. Anyway, nice to meet you all

Thank you very much Turtlex for links to both of those things. I read the rules and skimmed through the help thread.

My biggest questions are about in-game etiquette mostly. Logging in I saw that people seemed to be roleplaying in the general chat but I was wondering if some or most people prefer to RP in a more private manner and if so how do they do that?

Also there seem to be a lot of people with names like "(Insert character's name) F cub" and stuff like that. Is this a way to identify the character easily besides checking the bio?

Mostly just wanted to post here to get to know some other players and make some friends as well

Yes, most people have names like that to easily show their character's gender, age, or species. F for female, M for male.

Where you in a private/downloaded map when they were roleplaying? Since as far as I know, general chat doesn't work in the public maps. But, the roleplaying varies, for a 1 on 1 roleplay, players would use whisper chat or for a roleplay for only certain people, they would form a group and roleplay in group chat. I'm not a big roleplayer on the game myself, so I'm not sure if people prefer for private roleplays or not.

Oh okay, I thought so but wasn't sure. As for which map I was on I'm pretty sure it was just the public ones because I haven't downloaded anything or joined any groups yet. I am excited to see some of these private maps but I still have a lot to learn about those and being a member of a group. I am not sure where to begin so I'll just be keeping an eye out for people recruiting.
