Seriously? My username is too long?

I'm really annoyed that apparently my username is too long to actually log in to the real game. I've spent months trying to get an account, and now that I have one and the registration is closed again, this happens. I've wasted so much time trying to get onto this game, and there was no warning that my username would be too long to log in. Why would they make it possible to have a username this long if you can't actually join the game? I really want to play the game, I have done for a LONG time. Is the only way I can play to make a new account and wait for that long again? Is there any way an admin or the likes can shorten my name a bit so I don't have to wait another 10 months or god knows how long to make ANOTHER account even though I have made one already that can be used by making a simple name change?

The registrations actually open up more often than ye' may think and once they are open, they remain open for around 2 full hours before closin' again. It'd be best to check the forums here once every hour or so in order to catch it again.

This also happened to me, I've given up on the game. I just read the forum every now and again.

Make sure you make your second account just as the registration opens because if you don't authenticate your email before registration closes you can kiss that account goodbye as well. This happened to my second account. And now it can't be authenticated.

Accounts pending activation and the user didn't get the extra seconds to check their mail and click a link, can still activate the accounts by sending an email to [email protected] using the email address LINKED to the account they just made, can be any text or subject within the mail sent as long as it's from a valid address linked to an account.

The character limit is a problem, but to my understanding it's not a simple fix since the limit is baked into a few different parts of the site, server and game. And sadly we've had to had registrations this way due to how the game works and have worked over the years. No one really sat down and thought it would be a great idea to have different lengths for the registration and game login. I'm sorry if you made a long account name and it didn't work for the game, but I personally cannot make any username changes nor should we make username changes on request. If you do want to nudge that further however, taking that to Razmirz the server master would be the only place to go.

It is not however, as simple as the situation is put up here.
