I don't see anything stopping you o: I have my own FF account -- not that I use it that much, lol -- but it's really a great place to post your stories, and fanfiction, n stuff.

I don't think there is a rule like that against bumping threads, I think it more depends on the type of thread and such. But really it's up to you, if you want to get an account on there feel free to!
