Windows 7 Tabbing issue
« on: March 15, 2015, 01:18:05 am »
Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this issue?
Every time I minimize FH and switch to another program, usually my browser, my character jerks forward/runs indefinitely once I pull it back up. I've tried a few different methods of tabbing in and out, and they all seem to do the same thing.
I'm on Windows 7 OS, if that helps.

Ah, yes. I have this issue as well and I haven't been able to come up with a fix. I've tried multiple ways of tabbing in and out but it still happens every time. It's just something we've got to live with I guess.

before you tab out try and look up at the sky then tab out. that should fix the running forward. And if it doesn't then i'm not sure what to do. but that works on my computer so you should try it.

What I do is angle the camera so it's facing the sky. Clicking the sky does nothing so your character won't run forwards. It's probably the best thing to do when you're tabbing in and out.

EDIT: Beat me to it x3
Will be inactive due to work and exams.

Wow, it actually worked. That's gonna fix randomly running from people when I alt+tab, cheers :D

Edit: Amazingly, as I tabbed out to write that reply I completely forgot to look in the sky and immediately ran 100 feet when I came back in.

Working for me as well.
That's an odd little workaround. Thanks Darkky.
