How to scroll eyes?

I'm new-ish to making presets.
I know how to scroll the body/head/tail markings but whenever I try to scroll colors on the eye, the scrolling color doesn't show up. It ends up just showing the whole texture of the eye like the teeth, eyelid, etc..
I'm probably just doing something wrong but I'm not sure.

Scrolling eyes should be the same coding and how-to as y'er preset's body n'such. Just select the picture ye wish to 'ave the eyes scroll as and make the places on the eyes that ye wish to scroll transparent. If that is what ye are doing and 'tis still not working, let me know and I shall try to think of a different solution to y'er problems. ^3^

That's what I'm doing and they still don't show up.

Try checking for typos in y'er coding. If ye accidentally misspell the name or put the picture type as .jpg instead of .png 'twill mess things up.

Also, if ye are using Paint SAI, ye will need to choose the "32bpp ARGB (Each pixel have Opacity)" option. A floof was 'aving difficulties with the program doing opacity 'cause that option wasn't picked.

Make sure ye 'ave exported it as well. Ye may 'ave just been saving it instead of also exporting it. This will not update the preset's picture and ye will be using an older version without the transparency edits.

If none of these options above work, might ye show me y'er coding for the eyes?

Yes its all in the coding. Make sure you have it transparent where you want the scrolling to appear, along with the actuals scrolling texture too.

Scrolling the eyes is quite simple. If you haven't, use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVmBDqvJ8Do and http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=26062.0 they were both extremely helpful. If you are using gimp, merge down a invisible layer with your eye and erase where you want the scrolling to be.

I figured it out, I messed up the coding.
I was putting preset_8eye.png instead of preset_8scroll.png.
