Issues with FH Default Maps

Hey Guys!
Recently I ran into a problem where I cant log into any new characters. It ends up saying something such as
Failed to connect to map server.

I cannot get into Lonely cave OR Ficho Tunnel. Help?

people have speculated that it it's a glitch, or the mods are repairing something but whatever it is, i can assure you the maps will be up soon!! 

i'd suggest to go on a character that is in flurito plains, or cape of distant worlds until that happens.
