It sounds to me as though this may be a lagging issue, rather than the mouse itself. If your game is lagging (running really slow/taking a while to load) I would suggest making sure you have a strong, stable internet connection. Feral Heart is very reliant on a good internet connection, so be sure to check that. If the lag continues, try to turn down your water reflection and view distance in your in-game settings (you can access this by pressing your Escape key.) Try to stay away from large groups of people (this can cause lag as well,) and exit out of anything running beside the game itself.
