"When you feel like quitting, think about why you started."

""It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."
It seemed they had stopped once more, the woman they had just met, Kourtney, seemed to take off by herself. Did she have a death wish or something? Kennedy had once been alone, like many, and although she just managed, she preferred the company and help of a group. Giving her head a shake and letting out a sigh, she'd watch as the lass ran off, hopping out of sight on to a roof. Giving her shoulders a shrug, she'd turn back to Theo. A brow raising as she listened to him speak of where he planned on taking them. She should have guessed, they already had a base set up. Nodding her head, the lasses attention was stole though by a familiar voice. Smiling, Ken turned her head, there stood Donald and Clark. Sighing in relief she'd offer the two a smile, before glaring at Clark. Seemed her old habits had came back. Although, she hadn't drank in a while, so it couldn't hurt - not that it was right to start drinking once more. Once they were safe and weren't on the verge of being hunted down, she'd compromise with the woman, hoping to stop her drinking so much in a day. "There you two are!" She'd speak up, taking a step forward before a savage growl caught her attention. Whipping her head around, the woman noticed a biter heading there way - no doubt the hoard was close. Before she could run up to the Z and slaughter it though, it seemed to group had set off running once more. Frowning she'd follow.
Soon enough, a huge wall with spikes on came in to view. The two seemed to have done a pretty good job with setting up the base. Although it was probably more secure and offered more safety than their current hideout, this place would be a target for groups for sure. And the last thing she wanted was to deal with any hostile idiots whilst Tonx was expecting. But also, could they really trust the duo again? Sure it may not have been their fault that they were separated however, it wasn't the first time they had done it either. ""And what's to say we can trust you, again?" Brow raising as she swung the club around, walking closer to Theo, Hunter close by her side, and the bag still slung over her back. Despite the hesitation, Kennedy herself knew that this may be a better idea, staying here. They could always barricade the flats up so they could return if need be - if hell was to break loose in Theos place. Running her ash covered fingers through her hair, she'd turn to Clark and Donald, a questioning look on her face. "Alright, what do you guys think about staying here?" She question, not wanting to make any decisions without their input. Before they could answer though, she went on "If we don't stay, we'll head back to the car, back to the others. If we do, you guys can stay here, take the bags and I'll go back for Jake and Tonxs and get the rest of our supplies. It should take an hour at the most." Hushing, she'd await their answer.
