This animal is in the wolf family.
They are going extinct.
They live in small packs, but it is rare to see a pack of this animal.

(XD And the answer wasn't the maned wolf, but it was very close! It was the red wolf. xD The Red wolf is going extinct and it is very rare to see them in the wild.)

Komodo dragon! First guess was snake, but then I saw the saliva bit.
