i created a character but after i clicked "ok" it put me on a never-ending loading screen saying "creating" is it suppossed to take a long time?

I've never really heard of it doing this.
Personally I'd just try again. Shut down the client, start it up and make the character again.

so, i quickly created a defualt feline then when i edited it and click okay it brings me to this screen:

Hmm, it could be y'er internet connection. Try checking y'er wifi. If not, try restarting y'er computer.
