"Failed to connect to server"

It's been a while since I've played FH; so I want to refresh my account by deleting characters, friends I don't know anymore, and I will get presets and items!
But, I tried to login to the game but it's not working! I used the right password too. The title says what it keeps saying.
Though I do love the login music it will not let me!
Also is there a way to change my username? It bugs me.

Also can you guys add hunting and droppable items please that'd be lovely.

To "refresh" your account, log in to the gold box on this site. Once you have, you should see something that says "user panel"; click on it and log in. Scroll down to where it says "full account reset", type in your password, then click "reset". All your characters, friends, etc should be gone the next time you enter the game

However, I'd check with what Pan said above before you try doing any of this

Altering the game and adding the possibility to drop items is dadly not possible because the staff does not have the source code.
The creator himself has the source code, sadly he left the community a long time ago, and the staff team is taking care of the community.
For now, we can't expect any major changes.
 The game can only have things added to it, like textures, items and other modifications you can download.
