My preset folders disappear

Yesterday my friend made me a present, and idk but the materials folder had .txt at the end and I think that's why it didn't work the first time, because when I went to the preset maker and wanted to export it, Preset 10 file wasn't there anymore. So I tried to copy it to another Preset folder, this time changing the materials on my own so they would fit the names of that preset, plus I changed the numbers of the preset files to Preset 9. Soo after that, preset 9 file was gone as well.
I know I somehow made an mistake with the materials, but I don't wanna try again and again until all my preset folders are gone.. x3
Anyone knows how to fix that and get the preset folders back?

As a last resort you could uninstall and redownload. But as for that preset folder that you got from your friend, were all the files present? And did you open the folder, putting it in the correct preset folder that was originally sent with?
As for restoring the other preset folders you could delete everything out ( EXCEPT THE MATERIAL FILE ) And just put the numbers back in like once before.

She sent them as Preset 10, and I put them all into the Preset 10 folder but because they had different names than the original files, they didn't replace themselves automatically and I deleted the old files on my own. And after that, the Preset 10 file didn't show up anymore. But they had all the required files..

Sorry if I confuse you more, but do you mean the actual folder disappears from your file, or does it just not show up in your preset maker?

Would it be possible to see what the .mat file looked like on the inside, and what the image files looked like? It may be the way you've altered them as well as what they were originally.

Before I tried to use them in preset 9, they had the number 10 instead of 9, they originally belonged to preset 10.
Both, preset 9 and preset 10 don't show up in game anymore..

Odd, it looks compatible for the game; don't know why it hasn't worked out for you. Nevertheless try out this code and make sure you rename the .png files so it matches the new .mat, test to see if this works out for you.
