connection problems

i've been having problems connecting to the game. i open up the login page and it apparently looks fine, but then i open my game and type everything up (even check the password and username twice to see if it's spelled right) and when i go and log in, it says that it couldn't connect to server.
it looks like the game is ignoring the login page.
this has been going on since yesterday.
does anyone know what's the issue?

Sometimes it can take from 30-60 seconds to actually be connected and allow you to log into the game; so make sure you're giving it a good chance before you decide that the login system is ignoring you. What you can also try and do is switch browsers - I use Google Chrome, but another you can use is also Mozilla Firefox as both are very trusted browsers. I'm sure others are just as good but they're the most well-known.

i see. i tried waiting, but it was still the same. i'll have to try using another browser.

Small add on because these floofs have basically covered it.
Refreshing the page every now and then can keep the log in page from kicking you off. If the other browser doesn't help, you can try logging in on a mobile device and seeing of that helps too.
