I'm an old school Pokemon kid so I grew up with Red, Blue, and Yellow on the GameBoy. No matter how old I get my inner child still gets excited when a new Pokemon game comes out lol
I saw the video and when they showed the starters I immediately fell for Rowlet. Rowlet is a bird and Sura has a weakness for birds xD Plus he's soo cute! Of the starters I thought Rowlet and Litten to be the most interesting although I kind of dislike littens design. I thought it was cute how they explaimed littens ability to spit fire xD, the whole oils on fur and what not. Very clever Nintendo
I didn't like popplio so much at first but I'll admit it is growing on me too... Everyone is being so mean about popplio out there xD And Rowlet & Litten seem to be the most highly sought. Idk I feel like I might get popplio as my starter... I believe in the little guy xD His evolution might just be really awesome
As for the game itself it looks fairly nice. I like the whole tropical island theme. I also like how you can see trainers in the battles now it seems? Subtle difference but it's a noticeable little touch of new.
I don't care for the legendary Pokemon too much... I feel like legendary Pokemon just aren't as interesting as the good old legendary birds, lugia, etc. I feel like the designs are a bit much. Sometimes a little goes a long way you know? I guess I like the lion one most but again we have had another lion like Pokemon in the past so now it just seems like they're running out of ideas. I just hope that the Pokemon designs aren't grossly exaggerated because they're in competition with Yo Kai Watch these days. I strongly dislike the inanimate object type pokemon... You know the icecream cones and stupid things like that ._. Please no more of that lol
