E-mail activation

One of my friends created an acount and he only tried to activate it a few hour later and it didn't want to work. Is there any way of recovery?

If it was recent then I might think it has something to do with the current state of the registrations right now, which says "Registrations Closed. Try Later". I think when that's up no new accounts can be processed or activation links go through when its like this. You could try to contact a staff person to get a for sure answer or wait till the registration thing opens up again and click on your activation link.

If your friend did not activate the account while the Registration was open, this could be causing the issue. Usually it's best to activate the account as soon as possible after creating the account. As Feareh mentioned above, what he could do is to wait until the Registration opens up again, then click on the link to activate the account. If he waits too long to do so, however, the server may delete the request to activate the account, so I would try keeping a close eye on the Registration and activate it when you next find it open.

He didn't activated his account while the registration was open. He tried like 8 hour later :/ . I told him "You should activate it immediately after getting the E-mail" but he didn't listened to me. Basically, it's his foult. :/

And I have less chance catching the registration because I'm at CET timezone so if this hosted at America, I really don't know what to do. When I registrated, it was JUST befor shool so I had 5 miunits to register.

Hopefully your friend will no in the future that they should activate it immediately once they registered to avoid problems like this again c:
I wish them the best of luck when they catch registration open ~! It opens when you least expect it and a bit more frequently.
