Help with retexturing a mesh!
« on: May 24, 2016, 01:20:15 am »
I'm making a warriors map.
I need to make a cave so I need the rock mount to be the grass texture. Ive moved the grass texture to Feralheart>Media>Objects>Rocks and I put the new coding into the material file but it still says its just not working. I renamed it rockTex0 but It absolutely refuses to work!

Not a huge expert on this, but are you saving the file the exact same thing so everything matches? Did you rename it to something else...?

Keep on traveling across this road called 'Life.'

If it's not working when you're saving it to the original rock texture file, I'd highly recommend moving your texture's code to its own document and saving it as a .material file into your materials folder, and then see if it works. Also make sure that the image is .jpg so it matches up with the code to avoid further problems.

And a little tip, as long as the material file and the image itself exists somewhere within FH's folders on your computer, it doesn't matter where exactly they are. Just for future reference.
