What do you think of people who do/dont use mass markings?

I don't really care about whether or not people use any of the marking packs.

I use the default markings on characters they'd work best on (For example: Fire has default markings), and markings from packs for characters they also work best on (Like Naoma. No default markings match her well enough).

As for the judging on literacy based on markings... Well, that's just stupid. Who knows? Maybe a super literate player prefers the default markings over the packs? Or, a not-so-literate player uses the marking packs (Seen a lot of those, actually)? Nyeh, people can judge people all they want. Doesn't mean they're right about the player themselves.

Well, I agree strongly with the creative freedom posts above me.

I tend to use Mass Markings for private rp characters, where a majority of the people also use them. My "public map characters" usually stick to default markings, just because I want people to be able to see and recognize me.

Do what yeh want. I dont mind default markings at all. I think some of them are still pretty good to use most times. ^^
