Exception: [SocketCore.cc:8/4]

I cannot seem to get the new update to download regardless of what I do. I have been trying since the update was posted to no avail. In that screenshot is the new Web Setup that was posted where it shows the exception I keep getting. Along with my Torrent downloader (Torch) showing that it is still stuck connecting. I have already tried using UTorrent and it is not able to connect either. All of my torrent applications are up to date and the fact that the Web Setup cannot connect is just-- weird.

At this point I am at a loss and hopefully one of you may have had the same issue so you know to resolve this. Help?

That is a bit strange...
Have you tried the other downloads in case this wasn't just this matter that you're having?
Is your internet connection strong?

I have tried the Torrent download and the Web Installer, I'm not sure what other downloads there are. I have tried downloading some stuff from other sites and those work just fine. It is just this update that is giving me issues. My internet connection is 10MB down and 2MB up.

I see that Red said there were server issues so maybe I just cannot connect to whatever is hosting the update. Which is weird since I don't see other people having this problem. I'm going to check my firewall settings but I don't think that is it.

Could Be.
But yes the server is giving folks some issues, let alone connecting in game. So it could be a bit of a wait.
