Failed to Connect to Map Server.

I can start up 1.5 fine, I login with no issues, my friends are all on the server. Yet, every time I try get on, I only receive the wonderfully helpful message of "Failed to Connect to Map Server". I'm been trying to get in since the patch was released, and I only managed to get in once, but lost connection a few minutes later and was unable to get onto the server again. (I was going to tour around with Kiki. Sorry I never came back!) I've allowed 1.5 through my firewall, tried keeping the old and new login tabs, sent my characters home, checked my internet. I just can't see what's wrong.

That, and I can't get into FeralHeart, either.

So is that it?
All those hours spent modding and recreating the environment and items are just gone? Whisked away with the coming of 1.5?

Please help me fix this before I quit for another three years, as I had before.

Well since you managed to get in, might not be the character issue.
Try restarting your router in case it's the internet.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the server may be heavy with all the users trying to get on all at once so it could be a moment before you're actually able to get on again ^^

I'm not sure if this will help your situation but someone else was having issues with the maps and a reinstall worked for them just fine. Installer Link, this is the installer I used and I have not had any problems.

Just to make sure it's not any old files messing with the new version of the game:

Download that, run it and when it comes to this: PICTURE LINK

Type a 1 in the box so it looks like this: PICTURE LINK

That'll just stick FH 1.15 in a new folder and maybe that will help you.

@Hakumi, I tried resetting my router and I'm still unable to get in. I tried getting into FeralHeart to, and was unable too. Is the FeralHeart server at least up? I'd like to get back to my modding regardless of being able to get into 1.5 or not.

@M'Lass, I following your instructions exactly and allowed the new through my firewall, but I'm still unable to get in.

I'm incredibly frustrated right now, I've never had this issue with FeralHeart and I'm not having any issues connecting to any other server-based games, so it can't be an issue with my internet.

As I already said, it could just be the server here, with the many people trying to get on or on all at once. It could be a bit before you actually get into the game, so just be patient a bit and keep trying ^^

Seems like a huge fuss to just play with my girlfriend, especially with my limited free time with college and such.

I'll ask again (for the third time). Are the original FH servers at least still up? I want to play on them an not 1.5 if they are.

No, those servers are not up anymore. It is only 1.15 now.

Hey, did you reset your character's  Home, and have them sent home on the login page?
