I recently got into map-making and I need to share the map with friends.
Do I need Zip or whatever it is called to?

No question is ever silly fluff! ^^

But yes a lot of people compress the files into a zipped folder and upload it to Mediafire, Dropbox, etc. ^^

It might also say .rar instead of .zip and that's okay. Just upload that.
