Unable to get past loading screen.

Same issue a few others seem to be having as well.
 I know it is nothing wrong with my router or firewall,
 as it was working just a few seconds ago perfectly.
 Plus, I am typing this out on my laptop. If my router
 did not work, I would be unable to get on the FeralHeart
 site.
 I already have reflections + viewing distance on 0.
It is pretty frustrating if I may say so myself.. I have
tried many of my characters but none have made it
through to a map.

Maybe you could try resetting your characters home again and sending them home. Also make sure you keep the play game tab open while you play, or else it will won't let you in. If you need extra help go here http://www.feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=10423.0

It could be a few areas just can't access the internet right. I would give it some time and try later.
