Making presets using a drawing tablet?
« on: July 18, 2016, 06:10:31 pm »
What I'm wondering is if it is possible to create Feral-Heart presets using a drawing tablet.

Of course, I know it isn't possible to get the game on a tablet. What I'm thinking is that maybe it would be possible for one to download UV guidelines and texture files/images to their tablet, and then open them in an art program and draw a preset. When the preset is created, the person would go and put the images in a Dropbox download and then download them onto their computer to place into a preset file. Would it work?

If it did, I'm sure it'd be a little difficult to see if your preset looks right, because there's no way to test the files in-game unless you downloaded them onto your computer again and again. Which wouldn't be very convenient. It would probably be much easier to draw certain patterns the way you want, though.

I've been considering buying a Wacom tablet for art and for preset purposes. But I'd like to know your opinions first. Thank you if you have any input!

I think it would work, but like you said, it would be very inconvenient when it comes to testing it in-game

Make sure the file names and the coding match up, though ^^"

Thanks for responding!

I think I'll just have to chance it if I end up buying the tablet. Now I want to know if anyone has done it before, haha.
